This page explains what happens to your information when you use crashcareclinics.com, contact us, or get texts and emails from us.
Who we are

Your health records
This page covers our website, our contact form, and our texts and emails. How we handle your health records as a patient is explained in the privacy notice we give you at the clinic. You can ask us for a copy any time.
What our website collects
When you visit. Like most websites, ours and the tools listed below receive basic information from your browser: your IP address, your type of device and browser, the pages you look at, the page that sent you here, and the date and time. Some of these tools use cookies.
If you use our contact form. The form asks for your name, email, phone number and a message, and sends them to our clinic email. To block spam, Google reCAPTCHA and Akismet (a WordPress.com service) check each message. Please don’t put health details in the form. Call us instead.
If you click “Book an Appointment.” The button takes you to the patient portal of ChiroTouch, the company that makes our practice software. What you enter there goes to ChiroTouch and to us. ChiroTouch’s own privacy policy also applies on that page.
Tools on our website
- WordPress.com (run by Automattic) hosts our site. Its Jetpack tool counts visits. WordPress.com also serves our fonts and images and Gravatar profile pictures.
- Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Site Kit show us how many people visit and which pages they use.
- Google Ads. We advertise on Google. Google’s ad tag on our site tells Google when someone who came from one of our Google ads taps our phone number on the site, sends our contact form, or clicks a Book button. This shows us which ads work. Google uses cookies to do this. If you call us from the call button in one of our Google ads, the call goes through a Google phone number. Google tells us the time and length of the call and keeps the calling number. We don’t record calls.
- Apple Maps shows the maps on our Locations page.
- Google serves the reviewer photos in our reviews section.
These companies handle this information under their own privacy policies. They don’t give us your name. Google explains how it uses information from sites like ours at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Your choices. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) and manage Google ads at myadcenter.google.com. Our site does not change how it works when a browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal.
Texts from Crash Care Clinics
How you sign up. We text patients only if they sign our separate Patient Messaging Consent at the clinic and tick the texting box. Texting is optional. You don’t have to sign up to get care.
What we send. Visit reminders and confirmations, replies when you text us (including about scheduling), links to clinic forms, and a note if you miss a visit. If you tick a separate box, we may also send one request for a Google review.
How we send texts today. Our texts go out through the messaging service built into ChiroTouch, our practice software. We plan to move our texts to our own system. Before that happens, we will update this page and text you from the number we use now to say which number our texts will come from.
Automatic replies. Some replies are automatic, like when you reply to confirm a visit. We may use software, including artificial intelligence, to read the texts you send us, sort them, and handle simple scheduling requests with set replies. We will ask you to confirm by text before we book or cancel a visit. If you tell us the phone is shared, or the patient is under 18, a person answers instead. Other than our set automatic replies, a person at our office reads your texts and approves every reply.
Your mobile number. We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or your texting consent with anyone for their marketing. We never share them with affiliates or other companies for their own texting programs. We share them only with the companies that deliver our texts for us, and only so they can deliver them.
Stopping texts. Reply STOP to any text, or tell us in person, by phone or in writing. Reply HELP for help. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply.
Emails from Crash Care Clinics
We may email you visit reminders, links to clinic forms, and notes that a copy of your paperwork is ready. Our email runs on Google Workspace. Email isn’t fully secure, so we leave health details out, and we ask you to do the same. To stop non-essential emails, reply “unsubscribe” or tell us.
Who else sees information
We use outside companies to run our website, email, texts, practice software, fax and card payments. We share only what each one needs to do its job. We don’t sell personal information. We may also share information when the law requires it.
Keeping information safe
We keep health details out of texts, emails and website forms. No website, email or texting system is completely secure, so please call us about anything sensitive.
Children
Our website isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information online. For patients under 18, a parent or guardian signs our forms, and our texts go to the parent’s or guardian’s phone.
Changes to this page
When we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new date. If a change affects how we use your mobile number, we will update this page before the change takes effect.
